It was the first time the Polish crew was competing in the prestigious Head Of The Charles River Regatta (HOCR) just under the walls of Harvard University on 18th-19th October 2014. Poland was represented by the rowers from the Nicolaus Copernicus University.
This year the Head Of the Charles River Regatta were celebrated its 50th race.
The NCU crew competed in the Regatta thanks to the sponsors and partners. The Consus Group has become the strategic sponsor of the crew, the PZU Życie insurance company has become a sponsor. The City Office of Toruń has taken strategic patronage over the rowers. The Marshalls Office of the Kuyavia and Pomerania Voivodeship and Mercury Hotel in Toruń have become partners of the crew. The outfits have been designed and made by Izabela Dylewska, a two-time Olympic medallist.
The NCU crew was insured by the PZU Życie. The NCU Business Incubator provides organisational support for the crew within the “More than Business" Programme.
